Gib Lane Solar Farm is a new development located south-east of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire. The project is situated within the boundaries of four Parishes, Bierton with Broughton, Hulcott, Aston Clinton and Buckland. The developer, Haymaker (Gib Lane Solar) Ltd, has committed £10,000 each year for the next 25 years into a Community Fund. The Fund will be divided up according to how much of the development is located within each Parish, as follows:
- Bierton with Broughton £3,800
- Hulcott £1,400
- Aston Clinton £2,900
- Buckland £1,900
Groups located in one of the four Parishes can apply for grants of £250 up to the maximum amount available in their Parish. So, a community group located in Hulcott could apply for a grant of between £250 and £1,400, for example.
There will be one application round to apply to each year. It is therefore important you submit your application by the deadline date even if your project does not start or need any funds for several months.
